Lighthouse Park
This popular and well-loved park is located in West Vancouver on Beacon Lane south of Marine Drive. The main path to the lighthouse viewpoint starts at the top of the parking lot. There is an extensive trail system around the park. Although the main trail is wide and smooth, the side trails can be narrow and rocky, with muddy parks when wet. Maps are available at the kiosk in the parking lot. There are trails to many viewpoints and an access trail for Starboat Cove. Most of the trails have information boards talking about flora, fauna, and the history of the area. If you hike the main route and some of the other trails, the estimated distance is 6 kilometres.
